omg, you guys, stellaris is turning 10 and they're releasing some amazing new content to celebrate. i'm beyond hyped because this game is literally one of my favorite strategy games of all time. the new update is called season 10 and it's going to bring space nomads to the game, which is something the devs have wanted to do for ages.

so, what are space nomads? basically, you'll be able to play as a species without a homeworld, which is a totally new way of playing the game. you'll be based on a massive vessel called an arkship that can be specialized for military, civilian, or scientific purposes. it's like having a mobile planet that you can upgrade and customize just like you would with a regular planet. i love this idea because it adds a whole new layer of depth to the game.

the arkship is going to be the core of your nomadic empire, and you'll be able to interact with other empires in a totally different way. for example, if you conquer a new planet, you can spin it off as a vassal or play as that vassal yourself. you can also settle onto planets if you want to, which gives you a lot of flexibility and options for how you want to play. i'm really excited to try out this new way of playing because it sounds so different from the traditional stellaris experience.
