omg, you guys, there's some huge news in the gaming world - the studio behind stellar blade, shift up, just acquired unbound, a brand new studio founded by the one and only shinji mikami, the creator of resident evil. i'm still trying to wrap my head around this, but basically, shift up and unbound are joining forces to create some amazing new games.

so, apparently, the ceo of shift up, hyung tae kim, and mikami met and realized they share the same vision for making games, which is pretty cool. they're being pretty vague about what they're working on, but we do know it's an original ip for pc and consoles, which has me super excited. i mean, can you imagine what kind of game these two could come up with? it's like a match made in gaming heaven.

i love that shift up is planning to handle the publishing of unbound's upcoming titles, which means we might see some more unique and creative games coming out of this partnership. and, of course, with mikami on board, you know it's going to be something special. i'm a huge fan of his work, and the idea of him teaming up with shift up is just amazing. preorders are available at major retailers, but i'm not sure what to expect yet - i guess we'll just have to wait and see what they come up with.
