so i just heard that steam controllers are coming back in stock, and i'm kinda hyped about it. apparently, valve is bringing back this reservation system that they used for the steam deck, where you can reserve a spot in line and then get an email when it's your turn to order. it's a pretty fair system, if you ask me.

i remember when the steam controllers first went on sale, they sold out in like 30 minutes, and it was chaos. people were getting payment errors and stuff, and it was just a mess. so, it's good that valve is trying to do things differently this time around. the reservation system opens up tomorrow, may 8, at 10 am pacific time, and it's gonna be first come, first served, kinda. priority is going to the us and canada first, and then the uk, europe, and australia will get their turn in the following weeks.

i think this is a pretty smart move by valve, to be honest. i mean, it's better than just having a free-for-all where people are scrambling to get their orders in. at least this way, you know where you stand, and you can just chill until it's your turn. plus, it'll hopefully stop people from buying up all the controllers and then reselling them on ebay for crazy prices. preorders are available at major retailers, so you can just hit up your favorite store and get in line.

one thing that's a bit unclear is when exactly we can expect to get our hands on the controllers. the first round of orders had shipping estimates of three to five days, but then it got bumped up to six to ten days as demand surged. so, we'll just have to wait and see how it goes this timeRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
