omg, you guys, state of decay 3 is finally coming back to life. i know, i know, it's been ages since we last heard anything about it, but it looks like the wait is slowly coming to an end. the game was first announced back in 2020, and since then, we've had pretty much nothing but radio silence. but now, the developers are calling out for alpha testers, and i am so down.

so, what can we expect from state of decay 3? from what we've been told, it's going to feature four-player co-op, which sounds like an absolute blast. i mean, who doesn't love teaming up with friends to take on hordes of zombies? we'll also be seeing some new base-building and resource strategies, which could add a whole new layer of depth to the game. and, of course, there'll be plenty of combat, because what's a zombie game without it?

i have to say, i'm pretty excited to see where the developers are taking this game. it's been in development for so long, and i'm hoping that means they've had plenty of time to get everything just right. the fact that they're opening up alpha testing to the community is a great sign, too - it shows that they're committed to making sure the game is the best it can be. and who knows, maybe we'll even get a release date soon (although i'm not holding my breath or anything).
