Bit Reactor say they'll "bring as many people back as possible"

Star Wars Zero Company developers Bit Reactor have begun to put some of the developers they furloughed prior to the game's release back on payroll. Thus far, the number of staff on payroll at the studio has reportedly returned to "more than half" of what it was prior to the furloughs, with Bit Reactor boss Greg Foertsch asserting that they hope to "eventually bring as many people back as possible".
"Having to ask team members to step away after we navigated unexpected business developments outside of our control and so to launch was an incredibly difficult decision, but one that was necessary to help us eventually bring as many people back as possible," Foertsch wrote in a statement posted to Bit Reactor's socials.
"This team means a tremendous amount to me, and I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together. Thank you to our fans for the incredible response to the game and for supporting us along this journey. We look forward to sharing more updates regarding Bit Reactor and Zero Company soon."

According to Game File, whose initial report on the furloughs claimed "most" staff at the studio had been affected and that a small number of devs stayed on payroll in order to address any immediate post-launch Zero Company bugs, Bit Reactor's payrolled staff number is now back up to "more than half" of what it was before the furloughs. However, that still leaves some staff in payless limbo.

While no concrete numbers of affected staff have emerged, the existence of the furloughs became public due to an ongoing lawsuit between Foertsch and Bit Reactor’s former chief operating officer Alison Kelly. The latter has accused the former of pushing her out of the company, with the suit revolving around whether Kelly was a co-owner of the studio or not. The case currently looks set to go to trial sometime next year.
Solidarity to the Zero Company devs who're still furloughed. Hopefully they're all being paid again soon, either by Bit Reactor or another studio if they don't end up being brought back.
