so i just heard that star wars: fate of the old republic is getting some really cool new additions to its team. apparently, they've snagged a studio art director who used to work on myst iv and splinter cell: conviction, which is pretty impressive if you ask me. i mean, have you seen the artwork for those games? it's insane.

i'm also low-key hyped because this means we might not have to wait forever for star wars: fate of the old republic to come out. i know some people were worried it was going to be one of those games that gets announced and then we don't hear about it again for like five years, but it seems like the team is actually making progress. and with the director of knights of the old republic and mass effect on board, i have high hopes for this game.

i remember when star wars: fate of the old republic was first announced at the game awards 2025, i was so excited. i've always loved the star wars universe, and the idea of a new game set in the old republic era is basically a dream come true. and now that we're getting more details about the team and the game itself, i'm getting more and more pumped. preorders are available at major retailers, so if you're as stoked as i am, you can already reserve your copy.

one thing that's really interesting to me is the combination of talent from different backgrounds. you've got people who worked on knights of the old republic, which is one of my all-time favorite games, and people who worked on more modern titles like splinter cell: conviction. it's going to be really cool to see how they all come together to create something new and amazing. i'm a little biased, of courseRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
