omg, you guys, have you heard the latest about the new star fox game for the nintendo switch 2? it's like, super exciting that it's coming out on june 25th, but at the same time, there's been some major drama about the character designs. apparently, the original artist who created fox mccloud and the gang back in the 90s isn't a fan of the new look.

i mean, takaya imamura is a total legend in the gaming world, and his designs are still iconic to this day. he's not just the mastermind behind star fox, but also captain falcon and tingle from the legend of zelda series. so, when he speaks out about the new designs, people listen. and let me tell you, he's not holding back - he thinks the version of fox mccloud in the super mario galaxy movie is way better than the one in the new game.

i can kinda see where he's coming from, though. the new designs do have a more realistic vibe, which might not be everyone's cup of tea. some people are saying that falco's face looks too human-like, and that the whole hyper-realistic approach just doesn't feel like star fox anymore. i'm not totally sure how i feel about it yet, but i do know that i'm a bit disappointed. i love the classic, retro feel of the original games, and i'm not sure this new look captures that same magic.

on the other hand, the new game does sound like it's going to have some cool features, like new cutscenes and a multiplayer mode. and who knows, maybe the new designs will grow on us once we see them in action. preorders are available at major retailers,Read more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
