omg, you guys, hazelight studios just hit a major milestone - they've sold over 50 million copies of their games in less than 10 years! i'm talking about the same devs who brought us a way out, it takes two, and split fiction. i mean, those games are all about co-op action adventures, and they're really good at it too.

i'm not surprised they're doing so well, though. their games are just so much fun to play, especially with friends. i mean, who doesn't love a good co-op adventure? and the numbers are pretty impressive - a way out has sold 13 million copies, it takes two has sold 30 million, and split fiction has sold 7 million. that's a lot of copies, if you ask me. and the crazy thing is, split fiction has only been out for a year, so who knows how many more copies it'll sell in the future.

i do find it a bit interesting that a way out has sold almost twice as many copies as split fiction, though. i mean, i know a way out was a good game and all, but split fiction is just so much more inventive and fast-paced. maybe it's just because a way out has been out for longer, but still. and it's not like split fiction is doing badly or anything - 7 million copies sold in one year is still a huge deal.

anyway, hazelight is already working on their next game, and i am so hyped. they tweeted about it a while back, saying they're "back in the kitchen, cookin' up something really delicious." and let's be real, if their past games are anything to go by, their next one is going to be amazing. preRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
