omg, you guys, hazelight studios just hit a major milestone - they've sold over 50 million games, and i am totally stoked for them. as a huge fan of local co-op games, it's amazing to see a studio that's all about creating awesome multiplayer experiences doing so well. they're the team behind a way out, it takes two, and split fiction, and each of those games has its own special something.

so, let's talk about the sales breakdown - it's actually really surprising to see which game is dominating the charts. it's not their newest game, split fiction, which has still done pretty well with 7 million sales. and it's not even their first game, a way out, which has sold a respectable 13 million copies. no, the real star of the show is it takes two, with a whopping 30 million sales. that's just crazy - it's even outsold some of the biggest games of the past few years, like pokemon scarlet and violet.

i have to say, i'm not entirely surprised that it takes two is doing so well. it's just such a fantastic game, with a unique art style and some really innovative co-op mechanics. and the fact that it's available on so many platforms - ps5, xbox series x/s, and pc - definitely hasn't hurt its sales. meanwhile, a way out is available on ps4, xbox one, and pc, and split fiction is currently only on ps5. preorders are available at major retailers, if you're interested in checking out any of these games.
