so, i just saw this thing about pc gamers and ai, and it's pretty interesting. apparently, a lot of people are super against using ai in games, which is kinda surprising to me. i mean, i've heard of some gamers being against it, but i didn't think it was that many.

i guess the poll found that 47% of pc gamers don't use ai at all, which is almost half of the people who took the poll. that's a lot of people who are opting out of using things like dlss and fsr, which can really improve game performance. i'm not sure why people are so against it, but i guess some people just don't want to use ai for whatever reason. maybe they're worried it'll make their games look weird or something.

on the other hand, a little over half of the people who took the poll do use ai for different things. some people use it for upscaling, which can make their games look way better. others use it for ideation and research, which is pretty cool. and some people even use ai to code, which is kinda amazing. i mean, i've heard of ai being used to help with coding, but i didn't know it was that common.

i think it's also interesting that some people use ai for pretty much everything. like, 7% of the people who took the poll said they use ai for almost all of their gaming needs. that's a lot of trust to put in ai, but i guess it's working for them. and then there are the people who use ai to, um, "optimize" their digital lives. yeah, that's a thing now, apparently.
