so, you guys know how much i love slay the spire, right? it's like, my go-to game when i need a fix of roguelike goodness. and slay the spire 2 is basically the sequel we've all been waiting for. it's been in early access since march, and the devs have been pumping out updates like crazy. but, as it turns out, they're slowing down the update pace again.

i'm not gonna lie, at first i was a bit worried when i heard this news. i mean, who doesn't love getting new content and features on a regular basis? but, according to the devs, this slowdown is actually a good thing. they want to focus on creating more substantial content, like new game modes and an alternate act 2. and, let's be real, who doesn't want more game modes and story content? it's like, the best way to keep the game feeling fresh and exciting.

one of the things that's got me really hyped is the new character they're working on. all we've seen so far is a sneak peek of a bandaged foot, but i'm already imagining all the possibilities. will this character have some kind of special ability related to their foot? or will it just be a cool aesthetic thing? either way, i'm intrigued. and, of course, there's also the experimental game modes they're working on. i love that the devs are willing to try out new things and see what sticks.
