omg, you guys, have you heard about the latest patch for slay the spire 2? it's been a wild ride, and i'm not just talking about the gameplay. so, basically, the devs released this big balance patch that was meant to make it harder to create those infinite combos that let you just go forever. but, like, it was still in beta and not even officially out yet.

anyway, the patch ended up causing a lot of controversy among players, with some people even trying to review bomb the game (which, btw, is still in early access). but the devs, mega crit, were all like "hey, chill, we're still working on it" and decided to roll back some of the more contentious changes. and, honestly, i'm kinda relieved. i mean, i love playing as silent, and the thought of my prepared card getting nerfed was just devastating.

so, what's changed? well, for silent players like me, the prepared card will still let us draw and discard cards, which is a huge deal. and, on top of that, our serpent form will deal more damage, which is just amazing. and it's not just silent who got some love - necrobinder players will also be happy to hear that their capture spirit and borrowed time cards are no longer getting kneecapped. it's like the devs are trying to make sure that each character has their own unique strengths and weaknesses.

but it's not all about the characters, of course. the patch also made some changes to the actual gameplay, like the doormaker boss being less random and more predictable. and, oh man, skulking colony got totally reworked - he deals less damage, scales slower, and doesn't apply dRead more: Full article on www.rockpapershotgun.com
