so i just heard that the devs behind samson are finally releasing a patch to fix all the annoying bugs that've been plaguing the game since launch. i mean, i was pretty stoked to dive into this gritty crime simulator, but it's been a bit of a mess, to be honest. from harmless quirks to straight-up game-breaking issues, it's been a wild ride.

i'm really glad to see that the devs are taking responsibility for the state of the game and are working hard to get it up to par. the studio's creative director, christofer sundberg, just announced that a big patch is dropping on april 10th, and it's going to tackle some of the most pressing issues. one of the things i'm most excited about is the addition of multiple save files - up to eight, to be exact. i know some people might enjoy the thrill of having only one autosave, but for me, it's been a major source of frustration. i mean, who hasn't gotten stuck in a corner with no way out and lost hours of progress?

the patch notes are looking pretty promising, with a bunch of fixes for crashes, performance issues, and specific mission glitches. it seems like the devs are really listening to feedback and are committed to making the game the best it can be. some of the other fixes that caught my eye include tweaks to enemy ai, so they don't just stand around doing nothing, and a fix for npcs getting stuck in weird places. there are also some quality-of-life changes, like preventing corpses from popping back up after you've taken them down - it's the little things, you know?
