so i just heard about this crazy thing happening in rust, a game i've been getting into lately. apparently, there's this super overpowered tactic called the "horse shield" where players ride a horse and use a shield to basically become invincible. it's pretty frustrating for everyone else, and the devs are already working on a fix.

but one player, fyx, decided to take matters into their own hands and come up with a genius way to counter this exploit. they've been using horses as bait to lure in players who think they've stumbled upon a free ride. it's actually pretty hilarious, and also kind of brutal - i mean, a lot of horses get killed in the process.

so, fyx has come up with a few different methods to use the horse bait, and they're all pretty clever. the first one is just disguising landmines around the horse, which is simple but effective. then things get more elaborate, with fyx setting up fake floors and shotguns that trigger when someone tries to mount the horse. it's like something out of a cartoon, except instead of bananas and anvils, it's shotguns and explosions.

i have to admit, it's kind of impressive how much time and effort fyx has put into this. they've even set up a pressure pad trap that only triggers when someone mounts the horse, which is just diabolical. and the best part is, it's actually working - fyx is getting a lot of kills and having a blast doing it. of course, it's not the most conventional way to play the game, but hey, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. or in this case, when life gives you horse shields, make horse bait.
