omg, you guys, subnautica 2 has been out for like two months now and the stats are just insane. i mean, we're talking about a game where you can basically build your own underwater base and explore an alien ocean, and yet somehow players are still managing to drown at an alarming rate. like, 192 players per minute, to be exact. that's just wild.

i think what's even crazier is that we have all these tools at our disposal to prevent drowning, like oxygen tanks and stuff, but somehow we still manage to forget to breathe. i mean, i've been there too - you get so caught up in building your base or exploring a new cave that you just forget to check your oxygen levels. and then suddenly you're dead. it's pretty funny, actually. but hey, at least we're all in this together, right? we've collectively drowned over 15 million times, which is just a staggering number.

but it's not all doom and gloom - we've also achieved some pretty amazing things in the game. like, did you know that we've collectively traveled over 545 million kilometers through the ocean? that's like, almost as far as jupiter or something. and we've built over 5 million tadpole submersibles, which is just insane. i mean, i've built like, five or six, and i thought that was a lot. but hey, there's always someone out there who's going to take it to the next level, right? like that one player who built 195 submersibles in a single game. um, what?

anyway, subnautica 2 is still in early access, but it's already shaping up to be an amazing game. andRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
