omg, you guys, i just heard about this new game called company of heroes 3: final stand and it sounds like so much fun! apparently, it's a roguelite strategy spinoff of the company of heroes series, and it's all about surviving against increasingly tough enemies in a horde mode kind of setup.

i love how it's a standalone game, so you don't need to have played the other company of heroes games to jump in. plus, you get to choose from four different factions - british, americans, wehrmacht, or afrikakorps - each with their own unique units and playstyle. the goal is to survive for twelve rounds, which sounds easy, but trust me, it's not. the enemy gets stronger and stronger, and you have to make the most of the units and upgrades you get.

one of the coolest things about final stand is how it mixes things up each time you play. you start out weak, with only a few units to choose from, but as you progress through the waves, you get to pick from new units, passive upgrades, and active abilities. it's like a big deck of cards, and you never know what you're going to get. this means that each game is different, and you have to adapt your strategy on the fly. i can imagine it getting really intense, especially when you're trying to hold off a bunch of german tanks with just a few british soldiers.
