okay, so you guys know how much i love deep rock galactic, right? it's like, the best co-op horde shooter out there, and i'm not even biased or anything (okay, maybe a little). but what's really crazy is how the devs, ghost ship games, just keep reinventing the game and making it work in totally different genres. like, have you seen deep rock galactic: survivor? it's basically vampire survivors, but with dwarves and mining and stuff. and it's amazing.

i've played every deep rock galactic game so far, and i have to say, they just keep getting better. i mean, sure, some of them are a little weird at first, but once you get into it, you're hooked. and that's exactly what's happening with the new one, deep rock galactic: rogue core. it's a roguelike version of the game, which sounds kinda weird, but trust me, it works. you pick a class, load into a mission, and just start digging and fighting your way to the bottom of the mine. and the best part is, it's all about teamwork and problem-solving, which is really rare in co-op games.

one of the coolest things about rogue core is the way the characters interact with each other. like, i was playing as the guardian, and i could use this awesome shotgun blast of orbs to stun enemies, or create a field that repels them. and my ultimate ability was this bubble shield that restored armor to my allies. it's so much fun to experiment with different builds and strategies, and the game really encourages you to work together with your team. and, of course, the game is still in early access, so it's a little barebones
