so i just heard that dan houser, one of the co-founders of rockstar games, had some thoughts on the whole physical vs digital games debate. it's pretty interesting, especially since rockstar recently announced that grand theft auto 6 won't be coming out with a physical disc. this news, along with sony's decision to stop making physical discs after january 2028, has been causing a lot of discussion in the gaming community.

i think what's really cool is that houser and lazlow jones, another rockstar veteran, are now working on their own projects, like the american caper comic series. they were talking to ign about this stuff, and houser said that if people want physical games, companies should just provide them. he also mentioned that digital releases have their own perks, like being able to update and fix problems in games easily. it's a pretty balanced view, if you ask me.

lazlow jones had some thoughts on this too, and i loved what he had to say. he talked about how great it is to have a physical copy of a game, but also how convenient it is to be able to download games on the go. he even mentioned being able to download stuff on his steam deck during a long flight, which sounds like a total dream to me. it's funny, because they're working on comic books now, which is all about physical media, but they both seem to appreciate the benefits of digital gaming too.

it's not just rockstar people who are weighing in on this debate, though. other big names in the industry, like sega's president and hideo kojima, have been sharing their thoughts too. it's nice to see that there are still people out there who value physical gamesRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
