apparently, he's a bit worried that if he talks about his ideas too early, they might get copied or "slurped up" by... well, you know, other people. it's not that he's being secretive on purpose, he just doesn't want to jinx anything. and honestly, i get it. when you're working on something you're really passionate about, it can be scary to share it with others in case they don't like it or try to steal your ideas.
