omg, you guys, there's a new resident evil movie coming out and i am so hyped. the latest trailer just dropped and it's got me all excited for some spooky bio terror action. the movie seems to follow this medical courier named bryan who's just trying to do his job, but things take a dark turn when he gets sent to raccoon city general hospital.

i love how the trailer shows bryan's pretty normal life at first, delivering organs and stuff, but then he gets into this crazy situation with a mysterious package and a whole lot of zombies. and can we talk about the easter egg they snuck in there? the shotgun shells are branded "heavy field buckshot", which is the same brand from resident evil 4 and 5. it's such a cool little reference for fans of the games.

the trailer also gives us a glimpse into the abandoned house bryan finds himself in, and let's just say it's super creepy. he finds a double-barreled shotgun to defend himself, which is pretty handy considering all the zombies roaming around. i'm really curious to see how the movie will tie into the events of the games, especially since we know raccoon city general hospital was one of the first places to get overrun.

the movie's being directed and written by zach cregger, who's done some other horror movies like barbarian and weapons. and get this, the script is being co-written by shay hatten, who worked on john wick. that's some serious horror and action cred right there. i'm hoping the movie will live up to the resident evil name and give us some serious scares and intense action.
