so i just found out about this super quirky game called tomak: save the earth regeneration, and i'm totally intrigued. it's a raising sim, which is a genre i've always been a bit iffy about, but this one seems different. it's all about taking care of the goddess of love, who's been decapitated and is living in a flower pot - yeah, it's pretty out there.

apparently, the game was first released back in 2001 for pc, and later on ps2, but it's just been re-released and is currently free on the epic games store. the premise is that the gods are all about destroying the earth because humans are, well, kinda terrible, but the goddess of love wants to save us. the catch is, she's lost her body and needs your help to regain her goddess form within three years. it's a pretty wild concept, but i'm kinda into it.

as you play, you'll be interacting with the disembodied head of the goddess, doing things like feeding her, giving her sips of water, and even putting a mic up to her face so she can sing. it's all pretty silly, but there are also some deeper themes and sad backstories to explore. the game has a visual novel aspect to it, with different locations to visit and characters to meet, which sounds like a lot of fun.
