so i just got my hands on the pulsar feinmann f01 noctua edition and i'm still trying to wrap my head around it - it's a gaming mouse with a fan, which is pretty wild. i mean, i've heard of this kind of thing before, but actually using it is a whole different story. the idea is that the fan keeps your hands cool during long gaming sessions, which is actually really nice, especially if you tend to get sweaty like i do.



the specs on this thing are pretty impressive, too - it's got a pulsar xs-2 sensor with up to 42,000 dpi and an 8,000 hz polling rate, which makes it a serious competitive device. and despite being a bit on the heavy side at 73g, it's actually really comfortable to hold and use. the honeycomb shell is a bit of a divisive feature, though - some people are going to love the unique look and the fact that it helps with airflow, while others are going to hate the holes and the way it feels.



one thing that's really cool about the f01 noctua edition is how easy it is to adjust the fan settings - you just hold down the buttons on the left side and use the scroll wheel to cycle through the different intensities. and the fan itself is actually really quiet, even on the highest setting. i was a bit worried that it would be distracting, but it's really not. the only time you can really feel the fan humming is when you're not using a mouse pad, but that's not a big deal for me.
