omg, you guys, have you heard about the new pve mode in pubg: battlegrounds? it's literally all about fighting off an alien invasion, which is like, so not what i expected from this game. i mean, i love a good battle royale, but aliens? that's a whole new level of crazy.



apparently, the devs are trying to shake things up and make the game more exciting, and i'm kinda here for it. i mean, who doesn't love a good underdog story, right? and in this case, it's us vs the aliens, trying to survive and thrive in a world that's suddenly gone haywire. the new mode is all about strategy and teamwork, which is a nice change of pace from the usual every-man-for-himself vibe of battle royale games.



one of the coolest things about this new mode is the destructible environments. like, you can literally dig yourself a hole and hide from the aliens, which is kinda hilarious. and with all the new transportation items, you can move around the map and find the best spots to defend yourself. it's like a whole new game, and i'm really excited to try it out.



preorders are available at major retailers, and the game is coming out in 2024, so we've got a bit of a wait ahead of us. but honestly, i'm okay with that, because it gives me time to get hyped and plan out my strategy. and who knows, maybe this new mode will be the thing that gets me back into pubg: battlegrounds. i used to play it all the time, but i kinda fell off the wagon when other games came out. this could be just the thing to get me back into it.Read more: Full article on www.rockpapershotgun.com
