omg, you guys, some pretty big news just dropped - double fine, the studio behind psychonauts, is unionizing. i know, i know, it sounds like some boring corporate stuff, but trust me, it's actually really cool. basically, the workers at double fine decided they wanted to form a union to make sure they're treated fairly and have a good work-life balance.

so, like, 42 people voted in favor of unionizing, which is a pretty big deal. and the best part is, microsoft (who owns double fine) is being super chill about it. they're not trying to interfere or anything, which is awesome. i mean, it's not like they have to be all cool about it, but it's definitely nice to see a big company like microsoft being all supportive.

this isn't the first time a microsoft studio has unionized, btw. some other studios, like id software (the ones who make doom), have already done it too. and apparently, it's been working out pretty well for them. the union they're joining, called the communications workers of america (cwa), has been helping them negotiate better contracts and stuff. it's all about making sure the workers are happy and treated fairly, you know?
