omg, you guys, have you heard the news about pokémon pokopia? it's getting a brand new dlc called bubbly basin, and it's coming out on august 5th! i'm beyond excited, since i've been playing this game nonstop on my switch 2. the best part? it's not just a dlc - there's also a free update that lets you explore underwater and build in areas that were previously off-limits. talk about a game-changer!

i have to admit, i was a bit skeptical when i first heard the rumors about the release date. apparently, some commercial for the dlc went live a bit too early, and then it got taken down. but now that we have an official trailer, i'm totally stoked. the trailer itself is super cute, with a live-action guy wearing a stunfisk hat (lol, what a mood) and some gorgeous underwater scenery. and let's not forget the new pokémon - we're talking mudkip, crawdaunt, and sharpedo, just to name a few.

one of the things i'm most looking forward to is the new building options. from what i've seen, there are some amazing asian temple-style kits that are going to take my builds to the next level. i've already started brainstorming some ideas, and i know i'll be spending hours underwater, constructing the perfect little pokémon paradise. and with the expansion pass, we can expect even more dlc and updates in the future - including another new town in 2027!
