omg, you guys, have you heard about efootball? it's like, the new version of pes, and it's been doing ridiculously well. konami just announced that it's been downloaded over a billion times worldwide, which is just insane. i mean, i know some people were skeptical about it at first, especially after its rocky launch in 2021, but it looks like it's really turned things around.

so, to celebrate this huge milestone, konami is throwing a bit of a party in the game. they're launching a special in-game campaign and something called the "master league sprint", which is inspired by the old master league events from the pes series. i've heard it's going to be a lot of fun, with rewards like in-game currency and the chance to get some really valuable players, like ronaldinho gaucho. the event starts today and runs until april 16th, so if you're an efootball fan, you should definitely check it out.

but that's not all - konami is also releasing a manga called "that time i got reincarnated in pes", which is just the most intriguing thing i've ever heard. apparently, it's about someone who gets reincarnated into the world of pes and experiences the master league firsthand, alongside some of the game's characters. i have no idea how it's going to work, but i'm definitely curious. the manga is being written by kiminori wakasugi, who did detroit metal city, so it's probably going to be pretty cool.

anyway, this is all great news for konami, and it looks like they're still a major player in the football gaming space. especially with ea losing the fifa branding and switching to ea sportsRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
