omg, have you guys heard the news? persona is getting a live-action netflix show! i'm still trying to wrap my head around it, but it's definitely going to be an interesting ride. with persona 4 revival and persona 6 on the horizon, it feels like we're getting spoiled with all this persona goodness.

i'm a bit skeptical about the live-action show, though. i mean, we've all seen how live-action adaptations can go terribly wrong (i'm looking at you, last airbender). but at the same time, netflix has shown that they can do it right with shows like one piece. and with a showrunner like christopher monfette, who's worked on star trek: picard and 9-1-1, i'm hoping they'll bring some quality to the table.

the companies involved in the project are pretty interesting too. story kitchen is behind the sonic the hedgehog movies and is also working on a tomb raider show, so they've got some experience with video game adaptations. and with sega's toru nakahara executive producing, it feels like they're bringing in some people who actually care about the persona series. preorders aren't a thing for netflix shows, but i'm guessing we'll get more info on the release date and all that soon.
