so, overwatch just dropped a new patch and i'm kinda shocked - they're reverting the roadhog nerf that was only introduced a week ago. like, what even is the point of nerfing something if you're just gonna change it back? i guess it's good news for all you hog players out there, but as a support main, i was pretty stoked to see him get toned down a bit.

i mean, don't get me wrong, roadhog is a super cool hero and all, but when he's op, he's basically unstoppable. and let's be real, it's not exactly fun to be on the receiving end of his chain hook all the time. apparently, though, the devs decided that the nerf was a bit too much, and now his chain hook cooldown is back down to 7 seconds. i'm not really sure what to make of this - it feels like they're just flip-flopping between different balance changes without really giving anything a chance to stick.

according to the patch notes, the reason for the revert is that roadhog's pick rate dropped pretty significantly after the nerf, and he just wasn't performing well in games. i can see how that would be frustrating for hog players, but at the same time, it's not like he was completely unusable or anything. and now, with the buff, he's probably gonna be back to his old self, hooking people left and right. i guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out - maybe this will be the start of a new era of roadhog dominance, or maybe he'll just get nerfed again in a few weeks.

preorders are available at major retailers, by the way, if you're looking toRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
