so, you guys might've heard about the whole gears of war: e-day drama that's been going on. basically, there was this video that got taken down because it had a ps5 logo in it, which got everyone wondering if the game was actually going to be released on playstation after all. but, according to the devs, xbox never actually announced a ps5 release, so they're not really "changing" their plans or anything.



i'm kinda surprised by all the fuss, to be honest. i mean, i've been following the gears of war series for a while now, and i know how much microsoft has been trying to make it an xbox exclusive thing. so, it's not entirely shocking that e-day wouldn't be coming to ps5. but, at the same time, it's always a bummer when a game doesn't get released on every platform, you know? especially for people who don't have an xbox or pc.



anyway, despite all the drama, the devs are still reassuring fans that more info about the game is on the way. apparently, they're bringing back some classic modes like horde and versus, which is pretty cool. and, from what i've heard, the game is going to have some pretty big changes to the series' iconic mechanics, which could be either super exciting or kinda meh, depending on how it all plays out.
