omg, you guys, nicolas cage is coming to call of duty. like, the actual nicolas cage, not a character he's played or anything. i'm still trying to wrap my head around it, but apparently he's going to be a playable operator in black ops 7 and warzone. this is all part of the mid-season update for season 4, which drops on june 25th across all platforms - pc, playstation, and xbox.

i have to admit, i'm a bit curious about this update. it's not just nicolas cage, there are also new maps for multiplayer and zombies, returning game modes, and a bunch of other goodies. the battle royale map is even getting a summery makeover, which sounds pretty cool. but let's be real, the real star of the show is nicolas cage. i mean, who wouldn't want to play as this eccentric actor in a call of duty game? he's even got a red leather jacket skin, which sadly isn't shown in the trailer.

so, how do you get your hands on nicolas cage? well, he's part of a new event pass, which is basically a shorter, limited-time battle pass. it's got free and paid tracks, and of course, nicolas cage is only available if you pay up. the event pass is part of the summer of action campaign, which also includes a daily login event. and if you're new to black ops 7, don't worry - the post-campaign mode endgame is still free to play until the end of season 5.

it's worth noting that this isn't nicolas cage's first gaming gig. he was also in dead by daylight last year, playing himself as a survivor. iRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
