omg, you guys, wardogs is finally coming to steam early access on september 10th. i've been eyeing this game for a while now, and i'm so stoked to see it's almost here. for those who don't know, wardogs is a massive 100-player shooter with some serious battlefield vibes. it's being developed by bulkhead, the same studio behind battalion 1944 and the turing test, so i have high hopes for it.

i love that the devs are being super transparent about the game's development and what we can expect from early access. they're even offering refunds to anyone who plays the closed beta and decides it's not for them. that takes some guts, you know? the closed beta is happening on august 21st to 23rd, and if you preorder the game, you'll get access to it. preorders are available at major retailers, and the game is currently priced at $40, which is pretty reasonable if you ask me.

so, what can we expect from wardogs? well, the game features huge open maps that support up to 100 players, and it's all about combined-arms combat. think battlefield, but with a twist. there are vehicles, weapons, and all sorts of goodies to play with. at launch, we'll get three maps with three variations each, which is a good starting point. the devs are promising to focus on game performance, stability, and balance during early access, which is exactly what i want to hear.
