omg, you guys, have you heard about mouseward? it's this adorably gloomy soulslike game where you play as a tiny undead mouse in a helmet, and i am totally here for it. the game has a really cool n64-inspired vibe, and the whole thing just looks so cute and atmospheric, even though it's set in a ruined world.

the gameplay seems pretty standard for a soulslike - you've got your basic attacks, dodges, and blocks, plus some extra stuff like cookable meals and traps to help you out. but what really caught my attention is the stamina management system, which sounds like it could be pretty punishing if you're not careful. i mean, i love a good challenge, but it's a bit annoying when you have to spend more time worrying about your stamina than actually learning the enemy patterns.
