so i just heard about moss: the forgotten relic, and i'm kinda intrigued. it's basically a fusion of the two moss puzzle platformers, but without the vr aspect. i've never actually played the originals, but i've seen people rave about them, and i'm curious to see how they've been reimagined for regular screens.

apparently, this new version has some fancy enhancements, including better visuals and performance. there's also something called a "smart follow camera" system, which sounds pretty cool, but i'm not entirely sure what it does. and, of course, there are some new handcrafted cutscenes, which i'm guessing are a result of ditching the vr format. oh, and if you're not into combat, you can now skip it, which is a nice touch.

i think it's interesting that moss: the forgotten relic is coming to so many different platforms - pc, nintendo switch, ps5, and xbox series x/s, to name a few. preorders are available at major retailers, if you're interested. i'm not sure if i'll be picking it up right away, but i'm definitely going to keep an eye on it. the fact that it includes the twilight garden dlc is a nice bonus, too.
