omg, you guys, have you heard about halo: campaign evolved? it's like, this super hyped remake of the classic halo game, and it just got a brand new story trailer that's literally giving me chills. the best part? the footage was captured on a ps5 pro, which is kind of crazy considering it's a microsoft game.



so, i have to admit, i was a bit skeptical about this remake at first. i mean, did we really need a new version of halo? but after watching the trailer and hearing that it's coming out in july, i'm actually pretty stoked. and get this - it's still coming to ps5, despite all the drama going on with xbox. i guess that's good news for all my friends who are ps5 fans.



apparently, microsoft is planning a big summer release for halo: campaign evolved, and they're also working on a gears of war game that's supposed to come out later this year. i'm not sure what to expect from that one, but i'm definitely curious. and, fun fact, microsoft might be considering restructuring xbox into its own subsidiary, which could be kind of a big deal. preorders are available at major retailers, btw.

what's really cool about halo: campaign evolved, though, is that it's not just a lazy remake. the people who played it said it's actually really good, and they even want full remakes of the original trilogy and reach now. that's some serious praise, right? i'm a bit sad that my fave old xbox games aren't on game pass, but apparently microsoft might be adding more of those next year, so fingers crossed.
