so, there's been some pretty juicy news floating around about xbox and microsoft's plans for the future. apparently, they're thinking of making xbox its own separate company, which is kinda wild to think about. i mean, xbox has always been a part of microsoft, so it's weird to imagine them as their own entity.



i'm not really sure what to make of this, to be honest. on the one hand, it could be cool to see xbox have more freedom to do its own thing, but on the other hand, it's hard to imagine how this would change the way we experience xbox games and services. presumably, we'd still be getting all the same great games and updates, but who knows, maybe this would lead to some fresh new ideas and innovations.



one thing that's got me excited, though, is the news that microsoft is planning to release some new games soon. halo: campaign evolved is coming out in july, and i've heard it's looking really slick. i've seen some footage of it running on ps5 pro, and it's crazy to think that an xbox game is going to be available on a playstation console. and, of course, there's also the gears of war e-day game that's supposed to be coming out later this year.

preorders are available at major retailers, if you're interested in getting your hands on either of these games. i'm definitely thinking about picking up halo: campaign evolved, just because i've heard so many great things about it. and, who knows, maybe this whole xbox restructuring thing will lead to some even more amazing games in the future.
