omg, you guys, meta is still going all in on vr, despite all the struggles they've been facing lately. i mean, they just closed 3 vr studios, which made me think they were kinda done with the whole metaverse thing. but apparently, they're working on multiple next-gen headsets, which is pretty cool, if you ask me.

so, the news comes from andrew bosworth, meta's cto, who did a q&a on instagram. he said they've updated the user interface for the first time in years, and they're building new headsets. he even mentioned a potential meta quest 4, which is supposed to come out soon. i'm kinda excited about this, since i love playing around with new tech. but at the same time, i'm a bit worried about the price - we all know how expensive vr headsets can be.

there's another headset coming out soon, too - the steam frame, from valve. it's supposed to launch this summer, and it's got some pretty sweet specs, like 16 gb of lpddr5x memory. i've heard it's going to be a bit pricey, though, which might be a problem for some people. i mean, i know i'd love to get my hands on one, but i'm not sure if it's worth the cost. preorders are available at major retailers, if you're interested.

i think the biggest question mark around these new headsets is the price, like i said before. meta's next headset needs to have some serious hardware to back it up, and that's probably going to be expensive. it's not a great time to be releasing new hardware, either, since everything is so pricey right now. but hey, maybeRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
