omg, have you guys heard about the memory price crisis that's going on? basically, it's predicted that memory prices are gonna skyrocket - we're talking like 50% more by the end of q3 this year. and it's not like it's gonna get better anytime soon, either. apparently, there's this huge demand for memory from data centers and stuff, and it's just draining all the available stock.

i mean, i'm all about playing games on my laptop, but this is just crazy. i've been looking into getting some new ram for my own laptop, and let me tell you, the prices are already pretty steep. but now it's like, forget about it. i'll just have to stick to playing low-res indie games for the foreseeable future, i guess. and it's not just pc gamers like us who are gonna be affected - apple just announced that they're jacking up the prices of ipads and macbooks, too.

i don't know about you guys, but this whole situation is just kinda frustrating. i feel like it's all because of these huge data centers that are just sucking up all the memory. and for what, exactly? so that some coders can have an easier time or something? i don't know, it just seems like there's gotta be a better way to do things. and don't even get me started on the whole "ai bubble" thing. i'm not even gonna get into that, but let's just say i'm hoping it bursts sooner rather than later.
