omg, you guys, mcdonald's just dropped something that's kinda genius - a device called the 'archie' that keeps your controller active while you're afk, aka stuffing your face with a big mac. i mean, who hasn't been in the middle of a heated gaming session and had to pause to grab a snack? it's so annoying, right?

so, the 'archie' is this little peripheral that attaches to your controller and basically moves your character around for you when you're not actively playing. it's like a temporary autopilot mode, which is pretty cool. apparently, it's inspired by the golden arches of mcdonald's (duh) and is designed to keep you from getting kicked out of online games when you need to take a quick break.

i'm a bit surprised that this is only available in türkiye right now, but i guess that's just the starting point. to get your hands on an 'archie', you'll need to order the "pro gamer menu" which includes a big mac, fries, a coke, and some onion rings. not a bad deal, if you ask me. it's not the first time mcdonald's has partnered with a game company, btw - they did a collab with capcom last year for some street fighter-themed burgers and skins in japan.

i have to admit, i'm a bit curious about the 'archie' and how well it actually works. is it just a gimmick, or is it something that could actually be useful for gamers? preorders are available at major retailers, so if you're in türkiye and want to check it out, you can get your hands on one soon. i'd love to hear from anyone who tries it outRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
