omg, you guys, have you heard about the latest patch for marvel tōkon: fighting souls on pc? like, just a week ago it was basically unplayable due to all the technical issues, but now it's a whole different story. i mean, i know some of you were pretty disappointed with the state it was in, especially compared to the console versions.

so, basically, the devs just dropped a new patch that fixes a ton of the performance problems we were seeing. apparently, it was some audio processing stuff that was causing all the micro-stutters, high cpu use, and frame rate drops. they also fixed some other bugs, like how customization settings would reset to default when you restarted the game. it's pretty cool that they were able to identify the issues and fix them so quickly.

the patch is supposed to make a huge difference, and from what i've seen on social media and the official discord, it seems like it really has. some players are reporting that their cpu usage has been cut in half, and they're getting smooth gameplay even when playing online with people from other regions. of course, there are still some issues with the netcode, but it's definitely a step in the right direction. and, fun fact, the devs are suggesting that we "warm up" the in-game shaders and use the auto graphics setting to get the best performance.
