omg, you guys, marvel's spider-man 2 just got a huge boost in sales thanks to the new movie, spider-man: brand new day. like, i'm not even surprised - the spider-man games are always so much fun, and the movies just make everyone want to swing into action. apparently, the game sold a whopping 316,000 copies since the movie came out on july 30th, which is a pretty big deal.



i think it's really cool that the game is available on both pc and playstation 5, and that people can even get it through playstation plus. i mean, who doesn't love a good subscription service, right? and it's not like the game is old news or anything - it's still getting new content, like that awesome new costume inspired by the movie. it's like the devs are saying, "hey, we know you love spider-man, and we're gonna keep giving you more of what you love."



so, what's behind this sudden surge in sales? well, aside from the movie being a blockbuster hit, the game was also on sale for a bit, which definitely helped. i mean, who can resist a good deal? on ps5, it was selling for $30, which is a total steal. and on pc, it was $40, which is still pretty reasonable. i guess it just goes to show that people are always down for a good spider-man game, especially when it's on sale.
