so i just spent way too much time reading this super long post from mark zuckerberg about the future of ai and i'm still trying to process everything. basically, he's talking about how ai is going to change the world and how we need to make sure it's accessible to everyone, not just a few powerful institutions.



i have to admit, some of the things he says sound pretty cool, like how ai could give us all "invention superpowers" and let us create new things and start new businesses. he even mentions how his own daughter is already using ai to code and design robots, which is pretty impressive. but at the same time, it's hard not to be a little skeptical about how all of this is going to work out.



one of the things that zuckerberg talks about is how ai is going to make it possible for everyone to have a personalized tutor and coach, kind of like having a phd in every subject at your fingertips. which, yeah, sounds amazing, but also kind of terrifying. i mean, can we really trust ai to always get things right and give us good advice? it's not like current ai is perfect or anything.

zuckerberg also predicts that ai is going to lead to greater economic growth and more employment opportunities, which is definitely a positive outcome if it's true. but it's hard to see how that's going to happen, especially when so many jobs are already being automated. i guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out.
