so i just found out about this game called dreadwoods gatekeeper and i'm totally intrigued. it's like apapers please kind of vibe, but in 3d, which is pretty rare for games inspired by that style. you play as a gatekeeper in this super eerie outpost in the middle of the dreadwoods region, where things are just a little off.

i love the idea of having to manage all these different tasks as a gatekeeper, like checking travel permits and deciding who to let in or turn away. it's not just about following the rules, though - you can also choose to take bribes or bend the rules, which presumably has consequences later on. and then there are these weird encounters, like finding chickens in someone's wagon instead of veggies, which just adds to the game's quirky charm.
