omg, you guys, have you heard about the sin episodes series? it's this old shooter game that was supposed to have like, nine episodes, but it only got one and then just kinda... stopped. i mean, it's been 20 years, and i'm still waiting to see what happens next. but now, nightdive, the studio behind some awesome remasters, is working on a remastered version of the first sin game, and if it does well, they might actually finish the sin episodes series.

i'm talking about sin reloaded, which is basically a re-release of the 1998 game that started it all. nightdive's ceo, stephen kick, says that if sin reloaded gets a lot of love from fans, they might just go ahead and make the rest of the episodes. like, all eight of them. that's a pretty big deal, if you ask me. i mean, the original devs had plans for the series, but they never got to finish it, so this could be our chance to see what was supposed to happen all along.

apparently, nightdive's been talking to some of the original devs, including ritual entertainment co-founder robert atkins, to get a sense of what they had planned for the series. they've got old designs and level layouts to work with, so it's not like they're starting from scratch. and, from what i've heard, the plans were pretty epic. like, the villain, elexis sinclaire, was supposed to do some crazy stuff, including moving the moon and causing all sorts of chaos on earth.
