omg, you guys, have you seen the latest thing keychron is cooking up? it's a tiny little keyboard with a mic inside, and it's supposed to let you talk to your coding agent while it's doing its thing. i mean, i'm all for cool tech and all, but this just seems like a bit much to me.



apparently, it's got three buttons, a scroll wheel, and it's wireless, which is all pretty standard stuff. but the mic is what's really interesting - or confusing, depending on how you look at it. keychron is saying that you can just chat away to your coding agent without having to switch windows or anything, which i guess could be kind of handy. but at the same time, i'm not really sure how often i'd be using voice commands to talk to a coding agent.



i love how keychron is just throwing this idea out there and seeing what people think, though. they're asking for feedback and suggestions, and it's clear that they're really open to making this thing into something that people will actually use. some of the suggestions in the comments are pretty funny, too - like adding vibration, which apparently would be a total game-changer. and then there's the person who suggested a panic button, which honestly seems like a pretty good idea.
