omg, you guys, have you seen the new ad for starfield's latest dlc? it's literally just keith david doing a dramatic reading, but somehow he makes the game sound so cool. i mean, i've heard of him from other games like fallout and halo, but this might be his most epic role yet.

anyway, the ad is to promote the new free lanes update and terran armada dlc, which just dropped. from what i've gathered, the dlc is all about taking down a faction of military deserters who are trying to unite humanity by force - think robots and new tech to discover. it sounds like a pretty standard add-on, but hey, more content is always a good thing, right?

the free lanes update, on the other hand, seems like a much bigger deal. apparently, it's a "game-wide evolution" that adds a bunch of new features, including the ability to fly your ship between planets in cruise mode. yes, you read that right - we can finally explore space like real spacers. there are also new encounters, resources, and customizable effects to look forward to, which should give us even more reasons to get out there and explore.
