so, what's the big deal? well, this vulnerability has a score of 8.4 out of 10, which is considered "high" severity. that means it's something we should all be paying attention to and patching up asap. from what i understand, it's an ioctrl vulnerability that could let a local attacker write to any memory address, which is just not good. it's like, our pcs are already vulnerable enough, you know?
