so i just heard that lenovo is basically dominating the pc market right now, with almost 1 in 4 pcs shipped worldwide being made by them. that's crazy to think about, especially since i've seen so many lenovo laptops at my school and retro gaming meetups. i guess it's no surprise they're at the top, given how many different types of pcs they make.

i was browsing through some pc gaming forums and saw that the gap between lenovo and the second-place manufacturer, hp, is actually the biggest it's been in 15 years. that's pretty wild, and i'm curious to see how hp will try to catch up. apparently dell, apple, and asus are all trailing behind, with apple potentially about to overtake dell in laptop sales thanks to the new macbook neo. i've heard great things about that laptop, and i can see why it's so popular - it's stylish, powerful, and only $599.

apparently the pc market as a whole is doing pretty well, with worldwide shipments actually increasing by 4% in the first quarter of this year. that's despite the whole memory crisis thing, which i've heard is causing some problems for manufacturers and retailers. i'm no expert, but it seems like lenovo is doing something right, given their record-breaking revenue of $21.6 billion. preorders are available at major retailers, so if you're in the market for a new pc, you might want to check them out.
