okay, so i just found out about this new city-building game called nova roma and i am low-key obsessed with it. it's all about building your own little roman town on an island, which sounds super chill, but trust me, it's not all fun and games. the goal is to create this amazing water network that will make your citizens happy and healthy, but at the same time, you have to deal with these pesky roman gods who always want something from you.

one of the things i love about nova roma is the whole water management system. you get to build aqueducts, dams, and canals, and it's so satisfying to see it all come together. but, of course, it's not just about building stuff - you also have to make sure your citizens are happy and have everything they need. and that's where the gods come in. each god has its own demands and requirements, and if you don't meet them, they get super angry and start causing trouble. like, vulcan will send meteors to destroy your buildings if you don't give him enough charcoal.

i have to admit, it's pretty funny to see the gods throw tantrums and cause chaos in your city. but at the same time, it's also kinda frustrating. i mean, you're trying to build this amazing city, and then suddenly, jupiter decides he wants more gold and sets off a lightning storm that burns down your buildings. it's like, can't they just chill for a second? the good thing is that the game is still in early access, so i'm sure the devs will work out some of the kinks and make it more balanced.
