omg, you guys, have you heard the latest news? troy baker, basically the most iconic voice actor in the gaming world, is going to start making his own games. i mean, this is huge - the guy's already been in like, a million games, from the last of us to bioshock, and now he's taking the leap to create his own stuff.

so, apparently, baker's been inspired by abubakar salim, who used to be an actor and now runs his own game development studio, surgent studios. their first game, tales of kenzeria: zau, was a total hit and even won a bafta, which is pretty impressive. baker's all about learning from the best and creating his own unique stories, and i am so here for it.

baker's had the chance to work with some of the most amazing people in the industry, like ken levine, hideo kojima, and neil druckmann, which is just, wow. he's learned so much from them and now wants to use those skills to create his own games. he's not rushing into anything, though - he wants to take his time and make sure his first game is just as good as the ones he's been a part of in the past.
i have to say, i'm a bit skeptical, but also super excited to see what baker comes up with. i mean, if he can create something even half as amazing as some of the games he's been in, we're in for a treat. preorders are available at major retailers, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens next. fingers crossed it's going to be something amazing.
