omg, you guys, have you heard about the upcoming intel arc extreme chip? it's supposed to be a total game changer for handheld gaming pcs. i'm talking super fast graphics and decent cpu power, all in a tiny package. i'm low key excited to see how this plays out, especially since we're just a month away from computex and all the new gadget reveals.

so, supposedly this intel arc g3 extreme chip has a 12 xe core arc b390 igpu, which is pretty impressive. it's like, a top of the line graphics tile, but the cpu side of things is a bit more meh. it's got two p-cores, eight e-cores, and four low power e-cores, which is kinda behind what amd is offering with their ryzen z2 extreme. but, according to some passmark benchmark tests, the intel chip is actually pulling ahead in terms of multithreaded scores.

i'm not totally sure what to make of this, since it's all still pretty theoretical at this point. but, if the intel arc g3 extreme can really deliver on its promises, it could be a total winner for handheld gaming pcs. i mean, we've seen some decent gaming performance from the ryzen z2 extreme, but intel's chip might just take the cake. and, let's be real, the idea of having a super powerful gaming pc that i can just slip into my bag is kinda amazing.

of course, there's the downside - this thing is probably gonna be hella expensive. like, we're talking top of the line prices, especially since it needs the fancy lpddr5x ram to really shine. and, with the whole ram shortage thing going on, it's hard to say howRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
